AES Indiana is issuing this all-source Request for Proposals (“RFP”) and will consider both intermittent and dispatchable resources, as well as short-term bridge resources, in support of the Company's capacity needs. Through this solicitation, AES Indiana intends to identify resources for contracting or development to serve long-term needs, fill near-term capacity requirements, and inform the Company's long-term resource planning. AES Indiana is committed to providing a reliable supply of electric power to its customers. In order to ensure adequate and reliable capacity and energy supplies to meet its customers' needs, AES Indiana seeks to acquire additional capacity that, at a minimum, meets industry-wide reliability and performance criteria and existing new source requirements for electric generation and storage facilities.
