AES Indiana

AES Indiana (“AES” or “the Company”) is an American utility company providing electric service to Central Indiana. It is a subsidiary and the largest utility of the AES Corporation. AES Indiana provides electric service to more than 520,000 customers in a 528-square-mile service territory in and around Indianapolis. 2025 Thermal RFP

AES Indiana is issuing this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) designed to identify experienced thermal developers capable of partnering with AES through the development and commercial launch of two (2), 1x1, CCGT facilities during the 2030-2032 time frame. Through the RFP, AES will identify a partner or partners capable of working with AES to develop the requisite thermal resources and able to support AES’s project financing needs. The RFP will solicit bids from development partners related to the construction of one or both of the 1x1 facilities at AES’s Petersburg, Eagle Valley or Harding Street sites. The target commercial operations date (“COD”) for one of the facilities would be approximately 2030 and the second at or around 2032.

CRA International (“CRA”)

AES Indiana has retained Charles River Associates (“CRA”) to manage the RFP process for the purpose of creating the RFP and soliciting responses. CRA will also serve as the independent third party to evaluate all proposals on behalf of the Company.
